What the site uses
Passwords are stored as protected one-way hashes. We use your account email, student name, time zone, lesson bookings, optional lesson notes, payment references and lesson-credit history to deliver and manage your online lessons. If someone else pays, their receipt email is attached to that payment.
The site uses an essential sign-in cookie and a request-verification token. No advertising or analytics cookies are included in this booking system. Sign-in requests are rate limited using a keyed hash of the connection’s IP address.
Payments and messages
Your card details are entered on WayForPay’s payment page. This site does not store card numbers or CVV codes. WayForPay and the email provider process the information needed to take payments and deliver account or lesson messages.
Your choices
Lesson notes are optional. You can update your student name and time zone in your account. Contact to request access, correction or deletion of your information. Some payment records may need to be retained to meet applicable accounting obligations.
Retention and access
Account and lesson records are retained while needed to provide your lessons and resolve payment or booking questions. Access is limited to you and the teacher’s administration account. Expired sign-in codes are deleted automatically. Completed email messages are cleared from the delivery queue after sending.
